Monitoring, Metrics & Self-Healing
PanelOps incorporates an autonomous health monitoring engine that continuously observes infrastructure resources, container states, network availability, and potential anomalies across your servers.
📈 Real-Time Telemetry
From the Monitoring Dashboard (/monitoring), you can observe:
- CPU Utilization: Live multi-core usage graphs and spike alerts.
- RAM & Swap: Memory usage, cached buffers, and leak detection.
- Disk Space & I/O: Storage consumption per partition and disk write throughput.
- Network Bandwidth: Inbound/outbound transfer rates.
- Docker Container Telemetry: Per-container CPU and memory usage statistics.
💓 Autonomous Heartbeat & Crash Detection
PanelOps executes background heartbeat scans every 2 to 10 minutes:
- Server Heartbeat: Detects when a VPS becomes unresponsive or offline.
- Container Exit Detection: Monitors Projects, App Store applications, and Databases. If a container stops unexpectedly or fails health checks, an incident is registered immediately and alerts are dispatched.
- Crash-Loop Detection: Identifies containers that are "running" but restarting excessively (restart count > 5), diagnosing application-level crashes.
🩹 Self-Healing Engine
When an incident is detected, PanelOps can trigger automatic recovery protocols:
- Automatic Container Restart: Attempts to reboot failed services gracefully.
- Orphan Cleanup: Prunes dangling containers and unused networks.
- Nginx Auto-Reload: Validates syntax (
nginx -t) and reloads proxy configuration if a worker fails.
🧠 AI Incident Diagnostics
PanelOps integrates with LLM engines (Cloudflare Workers AI / OpenAI) to provide root-cause analysis:
- Pattern Correlation: Detects systemic patterns across multiple incidents occurring in a short time frame.
- 1-Click AI Fix: Suggests exact remediation steps and configuration tweaks for Docker and Nginx errors.
