⚡ Deployment Workflow

  1. Navigate to App Store (/appstore) and click on any application card (e.g. n8n or WordPress).

  2. On the App Detail page, configure the deployment options:

    • Target Server: Choose which connected VPS host to deploy on.
    • Site Title / Application Name: Custom title (e.g. My WordPress Site).
    • App Slug: Custom identifier slug for routing and directory management.
    • Admin Username & Password: Set initial administrative credentials (with 1-click password generation and visibility toggle).
    • Admin Email: Set the administrator email address.
    • Auto-Allocated Host Ports: PanelOps scans the target VPS in real time and allocates free, non-conflicting host ports dynamically.
  3. Click Deploy [Application Name].

  4. The deployment engine executes asynchronously:

    • Creates isolated directory at /root/panelops/appstore/<slug>.
    • Generates production docker-compose.yml and .env files with encrypted secrets.
    • Pulls official container images.
    • Spins up containers and verifies health check endpoints.
    • Auto-Registers Linked Databases: If the application requires a database (e.g. MariaDB for WordPress or PostgreSQL for Nextcloud), the database instance is automatically registered in Managed Databases so you can browse its tables via DbGate.

🛠️ Application Lifecycle Management

From the Installed Apps (/appstore/installed) section, you can:

  • Start / Stop / Restart: Manage container stacks cleanly.
  • Update Images: Pull the latest container version and re-orchestrate with zero data loss.
  • Volume Backups: Create standalone compressed archives of persistent Docker volumes.
  • Custom Domain Link: 1-Click link to the Domains & SSL Suite to attach custom subdomains and Let's Encrypt certificates.
  • WP Toolkit: For WordPress installations, access the dedicated WordPress management suite.
